Marching for my Babies

We love March of Dimes and plan to March for our boys and all babies born too soon as long as we can.  This year marks the 75th anniversary for March of Dimes. That's a lot of years fighting to end premature births and birth defects. Our walk in the years we've been apart has been at the fairgrounds. This year we adorned downtown with hope for babies. It was a great morning, the atmosphere was great and lots of people excited to be there. SUPER windy but great sunshine.
I tell ya, these two little legs nearly walked/ran the entire 2 miles...it was a highlight

My dad's company, Keebler, so graciously donated goodies and games at the event. Bless his heart, due to the wind he didn't actually get to walk with us. He literally stayed and held the tents down.

We, team SOONer Boys are so thankful for those that donated to this cause. Also, without a doubt we love having family and friends join us in celebrating the lives of our two SOONer boys.

The event always bring me to emotion and this year was no different. The hardest part of the entire day is seeing the shirts that read "in memory of." To be honest it makes me feel like our experience was a walk in the park. Although that's not true, it's definitely a perspective and something to always remember. Yes, I'd love for no one else to ever have to walk that road or the road we had. Until that day we will continue to bring awareness to premature births and celebrate the two lives we do have!
Thank you March of Dimes for your commitment to these little lives.
