We don't have a lot of specific updates just a ton of praises. Sweet boy is still doing so well and is so strong. He's tolerating his feedings very well, and they keep increasing the amount. He's close to being off an iv, no more fluids soon. Our huge praise is the brain scan came back clear, showing no brain hemorrhaging. Praise God!!! He is almost back to birth weight, as of last night (3/3) he was 3lbs 3oz. We are just so proud of him. A specific prayer request for him would be to pray that he can maintain a good heart rate. He's having what are called episodes. Many of the nurses believe it is due to reflux. If could pray for his little body to tolerate that and be healed of that if it is the trouble. But mainly no matter the reason for him to be strong enough to maintain a good level heart rate. They have started physical therapy on his little body. So please pray that his little body responds well to the therapy and it does what it needs to do.
Sweet big brother has had a very good week. We are relieved and so thankful for the prayers for him as well. We're trying to get the schedule figure out and we know it's helped him so much. Today as I was at the hospital we "face timed" with Lyndon on our phones so he could see baby brother. And Lyndon kept saying, "where's my brother"!!! I loved hearing that. If you would please keep in your prayers as our journey does continue. As Denton begins to bottle feed Jeffery and I will be up at the hospital more learning to do that and get comfortable. So that will be another adjustment for Lyndon. Then of course once Denton is home too. AND today we had our first poo poo in the potty!! Big deal around here!
We truly have been given so much. Thank you so EVERYONE who is praying, your sweet sweet words, cards, meals, phone calls, and more and more of things people are doing for us. Thank you so much. Most of all please keep praying and also praising God with us for ALL He has done and will do as well. I know this is a lot of random thoughts...just a clear picture into my mind right!!
I am so thankful for the scriptures you're sending to me, please continue that as they come to mind as well. One that is an encouragement that we're living by:
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful! Heb 10:23
